How to resize images in bulk
- Add your images
Drop your files into the upload area or browse your device. You can add one image or a batch of up to 100. The first image appears in the live preview.
- Choose dimensions
Pick a preset or enter a maximum width and height. Every image keeps its proportions and fits within that size. You can avoid enlarging small originals.
- Download the batch
Choose an output format and download a ZIP of the resized copies. Your original files stay untouched.
Sizes and formats
The width and height set the largest allowed bounding box, so landscape and portrait files can end up with different dimensions. For example, a 4000 × 3000 photo set to 1200 × 1200 becomes 1200 × 900.
JPEG, PNG, and WebP work in modern browsers. Other image types work if your browser can decode them; those files export as PNG when “Original when possible” is selected.
For website uploads, product listings, and photo sharing, use the dimensions required by the destination. The tool fits each image inside those bounds without cropping it or changing its aspect ratio.
Privacy and image quality
Resizing happens on your device. The site does not upload your images to a server.
Exports are newly encoded, so file size and appearance may change. Transparency is preserved with PNG or WebP, while JPEG uses a white background. Camera metadata may not carry over. Very large batches can exceed your device’s memory.
Common questions
Can I resize 100 images at once?
Yes. Add up to 100 images to one batch. If you have more, export the first batch, clear it, and add the rest.
Will the images be stretched?
No. Each image keeps its aspect ratio and fits within the maximum width and height you choose.
Can I make small images larger?
Yes. Uncheck “Do not enlarge smaller images.” Upscaling can look softer because it cannot add original detail.
What if one image cannot be opened?
The tool skips it during export and reports the skipped file. Try converting it to JPEG or PNG, then add it again.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed. The resizing and ZIP creation happen in your browser.
Does resizing make an image file smaller?
Reducing the pixel dimensions often reduces file size, but the result also depends on the output format and quality setting. JPEG and WebP quality can be adjusted; PNG is exported without a quality reduction.
Can I resize images on my phone?
Yes. Use a modern mobile browser, choose images from your device, and set the dimensions. Smaller batches are easier to process on phones with limited memory. Images are processed on your device.
Which format should I choose?
Use JPEG for photos without transparency, PNG for lossless graphics and transparency, or WebP for modern web use. “Original when possible” keeps JPEG, PNG, or WebP formats.
